I did these up for my sons friends. They are all graduating this year so I thought they could use them at College, hopefully they go! Thanks for looking!

what kind of material is the brown one made from? it looks expecially soft and fluffy.
I like browns, very pretty

I particularly like the different block in these rag quilts. They are not the typical squares. I also really like the brown/cream one.

They are flannel. made from 2 sandwiches of 4*10 strips with 3*9 batting and 3 4*4 squares in the middle with 3*3 batting. all chain stiched down the center then sewn together.

They are gorgeous. I am making my very first rag quilt now and I hope that it looks half as good as yours.

I love rag quilts,especially for college kids. I made severa from recycle jeans,using 6-8"blocks. They will never destroy them. My grandson has graduated,in the military,married and still has his blue jean quilt. Had to make his wife one,adding some bright colors to hers.
