You know this sort of goes along with the post about the "Let Go Of My Quilt", where the Grandma was upset and hurt by the treatment of a quilt she made for her grandson. If you make this type of quilt for little ones, it can be dragged around like little ones are very apt to do, they can be washed, and dragged again, and there will be no harm. They will last a good long time, loved, washed, dirtied,..... You can make them beautiful "keepsake" quilts when they are older and will know the value.

I agree with you totally. I think I have as much fun making these drag around quilts as the kids will sucking their thumbs and wrapping up their dogs and cats or what ever they find to do with them. I plan on making new quilts for them everytime they graduate to a larger bed or to wrap up on the floor watching tv or going on picnics at the beach or what ever. When they marry then they will get to nicer quilts.
