Wonderful, happy quilt!

I've had a couple of disasters - one that I told you about - using a few pieces that I had at home to add a little extra color (pilled and completely ruined quilt) or was it that I threw a towel in the dryer and that made it pill?????? The other one I decided to use different flannels on the back so that it would be reversible. I spent days trying to make that one work.

Very cute, I am getting ready to make one for myself, but need to buy more backing since I decide I wanted to back to be all the same.

Well, I hadn't thought abut it being reversible, maybe I will change my mind again!

It can work. I suggest matching the number of fabrics on both sides. Then coordinate one from the front with one on the back. In the last one for the grands I did a greenish with a greenish, a yellowish with a yellowish... etc... then you get a nice pattern on both sides, with two completely different sets of fabrics.

Thank you, barnbum, that makes sense - and I would NEVER have thought of that on my own. What a brilliant idea!
