Default another kid quilt - quilted on Flynn frame - 3 yds needed

Pattern: Simply blocks from Fabric Cafe - I modified it for size. The pattern uses 3 yds in the top only. I made it smaller so 3 yds would do the entire quilt. Just made it one block smaller in length and width.

Size: about 45 X 48

Fabric: Autopia by Yuko Hasegawa/RJR fabrics and Zippity Doo Dah! By Sandy Gervais for Moda

Backing - pieced from yardage

Binding - brought over from the back

Quilted on my Flynn Frame (Here's a link to the first one I did on the frame. This one is #4 so I still don't really know what I'm doing with this, but it is getting faster and I think looking better.)

Borders: if you can see the stitching in the borders - my grandmother hand quilted that little design in the quilts she made for my son - her great grandson. She was an adopted child, so is my son, and this little quilt is going to a foster home. I machine quilt, but she would still like that.

What a great quilt! The fabrics are terrific and the piecing plan is wonderful. You did a nice job.

The best part about this fabric was it was on the sale table at a shop I went to in a shop hop. $3.99/yard. So the entire quilt was $12 - batting was a leftover piece from another project. Love it!
