These are a couple gifts I recently finished for my mom for Christmas. The pattern for the market totes claimed the amount of fabric called for would make one large and one small bag. There wasn't anywhere near enough left after the large bag for a small bag though. So I had to come up with something else to use up the leftover fabric.

The bags fold up and flip into the front pocket for smaller storage. Each are lined with fabric the same as the pocket.

Table topper measures 28" square.

LOVE the table topper, it is adorable!
The totes look neat - that's all I use now when I shop,but most of mine are the ones the stores sell or giveaway. Kinda boring.

those are very nice. The table topper is so pretty. I love using the totes for shopping. I try to bring my own...most of the time. :)

What a cute topper!!!
I like doing the totes too. Great idea for the pockets -looks like some elastic on the opening and pleating at the bottom seam.

They are wonderful. The table topper is adorable and those market bags look great too. I want to make some market bags for myself {one of these days}...
