This took almost a year in the making for my mother-in-law. I ran out of the dark plum and only needed 8-2 1/2 squares and finally found it on the shopping I did with Karla up in Woodland Park at the LQS Nuts and Bolts.

I had the panels for a long time and this whole pattern was my own. I have already requested the EQ6 for my birthday this year which by the way is on Thanksgiving and it will be my 50th.

Thanks, I hope I get it because this pattern was my own and it was hard enough along with running out of material.

I never realized when I was making it the way the pattern of the teal blocks would turn out to look like X's or the Irish chain.

She saw part of it the last time they were here and she saw the backing then. Now I just have to get it quilted.

I still need to finish her miniature dollhouse, it is going to be a flower shop and it will have real working lights.
