I previously posted the quilt tops I made for my kids for Christmas and didn't supply you all with the name of the quilt blocks. I will repost the pics as well since I finished the pinwheel top as well. The first one, (which everyone has asked what the pattern was called) is a Carpenter's Square which I obtained at
http://www.quilterscache.com/C/Carpe...uareBlock.html

The second one is called the Monkey Wrench or the Snails Tail. I got the pattern here:
http://www.quilterscache.com/M/MonkeyWrenchBlock.html

The third one is a variation of the pinwheel which I started out as 3" blocks and decided since it was going to be a king size quilt I needed to add to the wheels or I would end up making 50 or so 3" blocks! I didn't really go by any pattern for this one.

The Carpenter's Square was very time consuming. I started out by making 1 block at a time and 2 hours later had one block done! After that I decided to try making them as an assembly line and it went much faster. It does require concentration but it was a lot of fun to make.

Enjoy!
