After a week of hardly any sewing I got to work on one today. Got all the pieces cut for the next quilt and layed out to sew. It's all HSTs except for the large background pieces. I have a list of what to pair up and how many like "make two of 1+1", etc.

Having a drink of iced tea, it's 97 degrees here! Then load a full bobbin and go to town.

Whew! All of the HST are sewn, cut, and some have been ironed. That's it for tonight before I get any stiffer than I am.

You're a machine! So organised and neat, and your colour choices are awesome.

I sooooo want to be adopted by you! ;-)

It helps me to start out a project by cleaning up the leavings from the last one, getting tools and supplies organized again, and clearing off my work spaces. There aren't distractions of some other fabric getting in the way, moving things out of my way, or not having room to work.

My daughter said she didn't want to go back either and she wouldn't if her daughter didn't have to be back in school. Do you babysit?

This is the center piece. The fabric looks a little muddy all together so I'm really glad that it's for a man!
