I made this for my mom last year just before she was having chemo treatments. Well all she "wanted" was the squares sewn together and the ugly backing put on it. I do not like this quilt it is so off and she lovenly calls it "What did I do to deserve this?!?" Or "In the beginning" I would love to redo this quilt what would you suggest. I will add some more fabric to it make it a little bigger and will add some minky fabric to the back she says it is too cold. So what pattern would you use??

I would just add some borders if you want it bigger and quilt it. I love the bright colors!

I'm seeing some black sashing & borders to make all of those gorgeous colors pop! Maybe black minkee or fleece for the backing?

What size is it now? What finished size are the squares? How many rows of each?
I guess too it would depend on what size you want the finished quilt to be? Do you have anything in mind? Let me know & I'll play with it & see what I can sketch out for you. If you want that is :)

Maybe just applique the quilt to a bigger piece of Minky? Center the quilt in the center of it and let the minky be the borders? :D:D:D

I would just add a 2 1/2 - 3" solid black border, then a "Piano Key" border
of all your scraps, and bind it in black. The colors will really pop!
It is simply gorgeous as it is.....

I agree with everyone. The quilt is very pretty as is. Just add borders to make it bigger. I like QuiltQtrs suggestion.
