I posted this quilt when I made it a month or so ago, but now it has winged its way to the mama-to-be it was made for. A friend and I made it together - I pieced it, she quilted and bound it. Another friend took the leftover fabric and made a bib and a couple of burp cloths. The recepient is a lady we all work with.

Mom has three older boys - the oldest in his 20's. All this pink was fun!

I'm interested to know how you made the burp cloths. I bought some nice heavy white flannel, can't decide on how many layers or a size. The quilt looks beautiful too!!

The burp cloth was made from a cup towel! Got it at either Walmart or Target. It's super soft. Just added ric-rac and strips leftover from the quilt - did add to front/back and both ends so there's no right/wrong side to it.

Tried using cloth diapers but they were such poor quality went to this instead.

There are some burp cloth tutorials on this board.
