Default Recliner head cover

We bought new recliners awhile ago. My DH really likes eagles, so I made this cover for the head area of his recliner. It kept slipping down, really frustrating, so I added some fabric, made like a pillowcase, and now it stays put! The back fabric is some with motorcycles on it.

It came out so nice. I wish I had done that to my old recliners. On my recliner where my head would rest, overtime it became coated with hair spray that would not come off. I never noticed in time as it was a gradual happening. After those recliners wore out, we purchased two new ones. I made sure from the start to cover the head area with a towel. It works, but I would like to make a cover for it as you have done. Good job, love the eagles.

Great idea, I need to make a cover for my recliner that my Husband almost lives in. I seldom sit in it.

Very nice but when I first read that he was an eagles fan thought you meant football

I made one as a Christmas gift for my dad and he loved it. Wish I had a picture to post because I was very plased with it too. The best part was that when I started the project all I had were measurements, no clue as to how I was going to make it. Oh, I sarted the project the Christmas Eve morning expecting to present it to him that night. Somehow I finished it and we both loved how it turned out.

Mine was similiar to yours, I used his favorite colors and quilted it. Made my dad very happy.

They do make a nice gift. Especiall when the person you're giving it to has asked for a chiar cover and you can't buy them.
