Good for you and good for him!! Sewing is a valuable life skill and he is likely to use it many times throughout his life and will be thankful he has this knowledge even if he doesn't admit it out loud!

I AM IMPRESSED! Not only with the quilt and pattern but with the young man himself! What a gem you have there for a son. Keep up the great work. And I must add I am impressed with you for home schooling (and for not giving him a choice, but don't tell him I said so!)

Be sure in his studies that he does some research on John Flynn or Patrick Loose and other prominent men in the quilting business. Wasn't it Rosey Grier that was the first to do needlepoint on his time off the football field?? So many years ago......
