That's going to keep the vet warm. It is a kind thing for you to do.

Yes, your quilt very nice. I had a denim block throw given to me as prize. All kids of shades f blues and she cut strips of darker blue for a like 3 incher border. She sews jean pockets here and there. My son who was 50 was packing for me and saw it. Thought great and pockets. I like blocks better than rag.

And denim jeans come in lots of colors. When the thrift shop down home would have sale like 50 cents I would buy a few colors.

Peg: I love this quilt. What a great quilt for a homeless vet. It will be warm and wear like iron. I made our oldest son a similar quilt when he went to college 22 yrs. ago and it is still doing duty for #2 son. (Never got around to making him one so he inherited it........blush)

How did you piece it together???

Love the look and very thoughtful of you to do this. It will absolutely help a vet this winter.

I love your quilt, but I am puzzled by a question. Isn't 44"x 60" kind of small to keep a homeless veteran warm?
