I think it's lovely. I think perfection is impossible to attain anyway...I would try not to judge this lady's work and just appreciate it for the time and effort that you have put into it to complete something that she began and was unable to finish. I hope that it doesn't get relegated to "just" a breadcover...it really is pretty. Try looking at it with a different perspective! :)

I think it looks great to me - and I would finish it in honor of the Quilter it belonged to. Do you know the family? Maybe they would LOVE to have it back completed into something.

Sounds like the little off seams etc. of this seamstress will continue to bug you. If you don't love it, pass it on to someone who will. Just an idea. Several on here would really love it.

I've sent a photo of another quilt I made from the deceased quilters blocks to the niece(who I purchased everything from). The niece didn't respond, so I have to assume she could care less... :
