Default Recycled Shirt Pineapple Quilt Done!

In January I posted my start to this quilt http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t238404.html. Nine months later it is done. There are 56 pineapple blocks with 41 pieces in each block. I used the Pineapple Possibilities method to make the blocks. I have completed several other projects in between and used the blocks as leaders and enders to the other projects. I quilted it on my HQ16 with Prostitcher. I used parts of about 60 shirts. Some of the lights are shirtings from my stash as I did not have enough lights in my shirt collection. I love the outcome, but now looking for other patterns to use up the rest of those shirts.

I have been eagerly awaiting this post! I loved the sneak peek you gave and the finished quilt is equally fabulous. What an awesome quilt that really brings to mind what people think of when they think of an old fashioned homespun quilt. That one would quickly become a favorite in my house! The panto you selected is the perfect compliment too.

You created a masterpiece. It is beautiful! I love plaid and stripes and can rarely find them in my area. Great idea for recycling shirts.

A gorgeous quilt! An idea that I never would've thought of. Did it matter to you if they're were of different materials? Or are they all 100% cotton?

All of the shirts had 100% cotton on the label, however they are different weights. I didn't use any flannel, but there are some wovens.
