Default Red / Gold quilt with a Southwestern flair

This pattern is from the Nov/Dec 2012 McCalls Quilting (or Maybe Quick Quilting) titled Champagne Wishes
You can see their version on their website. I left off the outer border on this version.

I did this in Jenny Beyer fabrics - Outback and Northern Lights -- which really gave it a Southwestern feel to me.

The quilting design (was LAQ'ed) was a border pattern and every other row was flipped -it gives it a really cool 'embossed' look... love the way this whole quilt turned out. Quilting design pattern is Southwest Border / Panto by Celine Spader.

These pics were taken at the LAQ shop - I am going to bind it in red.

Thanks for looking!

Breathtaking! Is your LAQ computer guided? I am thinking it had to be to line up the flipped panto so perfectly. Looks great.

Yes ma'am - it's a Gammil Statler Stitcher with Creative Studios... and its a shop. I can only hope one day when I grow up that I can have one.
