Default Red and Green Hostas

This is the Fire Island Hosta pattern. I bought it planning on making the green one, but when I was picking fabric, the red kept calling to me. I could not decide between them, so I made both.

I used the paper as a template and did each section at a time - in both colors. Got kind of tedious so it got put on hold for several months while I worked on other projects. Once I had all the pieces done, putting them all together was pretty easy and fast. Glad these two are ready for quilting so I can move on to something new.

Beautiful. That's the kind of hosta I need. I have spent many $ on hosta and many, many hours separating and replanting only for it to become deer food.
