I love the setting of these blocks as they are set in stars. The red brings all of this together for a striking quilt.

I wanted those star point to pop out so I simply outlined them....stippled in the background fabric of all the blocks....stars and loops in the the body of the quilt and finished it off with a feather.

I quilted this freehand on my innova...Hobbs polydown batting was used.

Thanks for looking.

Having this quilt on the rack must have been such a pleasure with all those beautiful vibrant colors to look at and you couldn't of chosen better for the quilting with the stippling on all the sampler blocks inside the star and the loops and starbursts behind them. Love, love, love how you curly-Q the feathers in the corners! I feel some more inspiration coming on!

Awesome color choices and I love the 2nd border! I've never seen one pieced like that before (and we're talking 30 years - oops, did I say that?).Congratulations!
