    Default my weekend find

Thanks to a friend I got a great deal ($1 a yard) for fabric and a freestanding (popular in the 60's) sewing box that another friend had been searching for. What I had to walk away from was a 1926 Singer in a wooded carrying case that ran like a gem and could be converted to a crank if need be. If I didn't have one already....

Awesome find! You're a stronger woman than I am when it comes to the machine...especially if the price were RIGHT.

    Congrats on both!

I don't think there is a fabric in your haul that I don't like. Am partial to small prints and calicoes. Great luck you had.

That is a great find. Many of the fabrics appear to be "vintage" I love them all

Great find! I just up the last of my cream fabric with the little duck/swans on it in a scrap Spiderweb this year.
