I really like your topper-especially the fabric with the birds in the patriotic houses. I am so glad you are back. Though I am retired I love 4 am and accomplish a lot in that quiet time. Time is like treasure. In order to save (quilt) pay yourself first. You never build a nest egg by saving what is left over at the end of the pay period. Be intentional and you have found that factor.

Great idea to start your morning with fabric fun. Congrats on getting your sewing started back and finishing a project! Looks great! Now...if I didn't wake up and spend so much time looking at quilts and started using my morning time to work on quilts, I will accomplish more projects like you!

Time is a treasure and as you say "pay" yourself first. I found this truly provides the beginnings of having a positive day. Thank- you for your kind words that only encourage me to do more creativity.
To all, a big thank- you of welcoming me back from my hiatus.

That is dedication. My eyes would still be glued shut, but if it works for you that is wonderful. I would be more inclined to work late in the evening and then have a hard time getting up for work!
Your table runner is cute and just in time for all the holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
