Default Red/Whte/Blue - Boy Grad - easy - FMQ Primitive!

Pattern: Cheaper by the Dozen - with a scrappy border from the leftovers plus a strip or two from my stash. This is my "go to" pattern for easy, fast projects.

Fabric: Assorted collected FQ's. Most from the Houston Quilt Show, but a few are from Jo-ann's, and a couple from the LQS. I've already washed it with a color catcher and ... nothing. I was so surprised at how well it came out. I sometimes iron them after they are washed to make them look fresher, but this one is going just as it came out. Hurray!

Quilting: Stars. Very lop-sided, folk art style stars. I figure I'll look back at this age/stage and call it my "Primitive Period".

Backing: a navy blue sheet from Wal-mart

Binding: Brought over from back

Size: 60 X 70 (Approx.)

This is for a grad from my church.

Me, too! I keep hearing about this pattern & after seeing how cute yours turned out, I just may have to break down & buy it. This is fabulous... I personally love the primitive look!

That's a great grad-boy-quilt. I'll have to bookmark it to remember. Thanks for the photos.
