It is a charming quilt! I would suggest finishing the churn dash blocks and put them on the design board and step back. Are the buildings by the bird and one next to the chimney a kind of green or a type of beige/tan? Since the largest building is red and it is a strong color, and there are 2 that look green, with one partially blue or grey, I would audition a blue boarder, and see how it looks. Take a piece, maybe a fq and stand back to see if it works well.

The top left building is red, the next one down is beige and grey and the last towards the bottom is sort of an olive
green. I will audition a few once I get the rest of the churn dash blocks done. Thanks for the suggestions.

This quilt is adorable! Is it your own design? What a fun quilt.

Looks fantastic!!! Love that style. Did you make up this pattern? If not, what is it? If so, you are SO talented and creative....besides the piecing and color choices
