    Default Redwork quilt

This quilt I made for a ship re-union for my step father. He is 96 years old and a Pearl Harbor Survivor. My Mother has always made the quilts for their re-unions and a few years back she had knee replacement done & couldn't do it that year so I stepped up and made this one. It has all 50 states and I digitized the ship which was the USS California that he served on at Pearl. They auctioned it off to help with the re-union.

That quilt should have raised lots of money. Those Pearl Survivors deserved the reunion. Also our respect. You are a good daughter.

Beautiful quilt. I know lots of time went into that one. I have worked on my blocks like that for some time and am still not through with them!
