Here's a couple of pictures of a Dresden Plate quilt that I refurbished last year. I bought the quilt in an antique shop and it was in very poor condition but to pretty to be classified as a "cutter" quilt for crafts. It is probably 1930's era. A "lot" of the blades for the quilt had frayed or completely disintigraged. I replaced those with fabric that I had from my collection of vintage fabrics. I think I did a pretty good job. The quilt is very soft and cuddly but I believe it should only be used for display as some of the fabrics are still fragile. I have a lot of time and effort in this quilt but I believe it was well worth saving. What do you think? Thanks for looking.

All I can say is WOW! Yes, you certainly did the right thing in preserving it. Display & treasure it.
