Rescued Quilt

Rescued Quilt
My DD rescued a quilt for me off Freecycle. She was told after they finished it, they just DIDN'T LIKE THE COLORS! I love the muted colors.
The whole quilt was there - quilt top, batting and backing, stitched around the edges but just not quilted. I opened up the seams, put it on my long arm and quilted with a loose meandering stitch.
It is a full size quilt and I think it is very pretty so thank you to the lady who made it and all the work that went into it. It is beautifully sewn.

Nessie, I tend to agree- too many times when someone lovingly put lots of work into something only to be looked at by the potential receiver as a piece of trash. Not seeing the love that is there.
