These are two of my thrift store finds, the 1st is a Sunbonnet Sam quilt that has POLYESTER Sams. My grandson knows when he's here, it's HIS blanket!

Cute story....I called my grandson prior to his birthday and asked him what he might want for his big day, and he thought of his quilt "This isnt really a present , but could you sew the hole up in my quilt, Im worried about it" He was only 10 when he said this.

How can someone part with a quilt? My sister gave away the quilt I made her. Thank goodness my other sister got it before she tossed it. It was a new quilt mad just for her.

From working at a thrift, entire estates are donated and often these things just arent wanted by family if they arent perfect.
