First may I begin by thanking all of you that posted a suggestion regarding the border and/or name for my quilt. I just finished it today and I am VERY PLEASED with the results. I especially want to thank "greensleeves" for her suggestion of 'Whirlwind', for the name...I used that and added to it: TEXAS WHIRLWIND. I loved reading all your ideas. Thanks for your help. And here are the results!!!

Your welcome, ....I noticed your in Roswell, not to far from me here in west Texas, where we have seen lots of those whirlwinds lately because of the drought.

Great quilt & fun name. The binding looks terrific too.

It is stunning! The name fits wonderfully...by the way hello from Grandfalls. Did you get any of the rain; it was such a blessing and smells so refreshing. Thanks for sharing the quilt and inspiration.

Yes Chicca, Thank the Lord, we did get a little rain yesterday and this morning. Still less than an inch, but further east of us some had as much as 3 inches. Just happy for anyone getting rain in the drought stricken areas.
