Default Reunion favors

I looked and looked for a favor for my family for our reunion. I came across these cup cozies. They worked out great. We had about 14 people in the house at most times. My sister-in-law had red solo and clear cups. These worked perfectly. Worked around bottles as well. Helped everyone keep track of their glass and saved on waste. I customized a few, had fish material for fishermen, cardinal print for the cardinal lover... cats for cat lover, fun fabric for kids, ISU fabric for Iowa State grads, etc... used pony tail holders for stretchy loop and fancy buttons. This was a really fun project.

Those are neat and inexpensive gifts. I came across a crochet pattern a couple a years ago of one that is a football jersey shape. I need to go look for it. Thanks for sharing.

Such a great idea! Did you have a pattern for them? I have a large family and that would really be great for them.

ChrisB, I did have a pattern. I don't know what blog or website I got it from, but if you google cup cozies, and then look at images, maybe you will see something similar , otherwise I can try and find the site I used and send it to you. Sorry, I am not very organized when it comes to keeping information that I should.....

Very cute idea and they look like they were quick and easy to make. Nice thoughtful gift!

Great idea--I plan to try these for our gang's next Christmas gathering--right now we just write our names on our own cup--this is so much nicer. I think these would make good sale items for our Quilt Guild's booth at our community's fall festival, too.
