Here is the pattern

http://www.quiltbus.com/tabletopper.htm

sewaholic, I just left the strips as they were, was lucky in that the sewing of each side matched up. However, if they hadn't then I would have cut the edges into straight edge and sewn as the pattern indicates.

THEY are beautiful!! I want to go cut some out now BUT I Hate to sound dumb but, if you left strips as they are, then how did you quilt and bind them? Margie

Did not bind it. I think the term is "birthing". I placed each front to front, sewed the edges, leaving a section unsewn, turned inside out and then sewed around the very edge so that they wouldn't slip. Then I also just made a little tacking stitch every so often down the middle so it wouldn't slip through there either.

Thanks racnquilter for the link. Hope you didn't think I was being rude, about the binding thing. They are very pretty, and very even. :D
