Default Sock Monkey Quilt

After seeing the start of omgtimmcgram's quilt in this thread:http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...y-t214951.html

I really wanted to make one of my own since I had not seen the print before. I changed it just slightly adding the red dot fabric & instead of batting & backing, I opted to use a fleece that was a perfect match to the sock monkey. This one was really fun to make & I am keeping it since I am a sock monkey fan.

I just finished a Tumbler quilt top in reproduction prints, but have not found what I want to back it in just yet. I Love the scrappy look of these fun prints.

Thanks for looking

Your quilts look great. A 9-patch is on my "to do" list. I never thought of using fleece instead of of backing and flannel.
Thank you.

Great monkey quilt - who wouldnt smile when using this blanket lol

Love the tumbler quilt too. Maybe use strips of fabrics from the front for the backing or just an offwhit muslin like in the "old" days

great job on both!!
