    Default Cuddle quilt

Instead of making a baby quilt with a short life for my niece's baby shower, I made a cuddle quilt instead. I wanted her to have a quilt she could use for a long time, for naps, beach, etc. I loved making this quilt. It is made with Tula Pink's "Saltwater" with a few strips of "Prince Charming" since I didn't have quite enough for the length I wanted. They are the same colorway so it worked for me. I found McKenna Ryan fabric for the backing for only $5.98 a yard. That was a bargain. Had to use some Prince Charming as I was short a few strips.

What a great quilt! I'm betting that baby ends up taking that quilt off to college ... maybe a little worn by then, but well-loved.

That is a wonderful quilt. Even though baby quilts are usually so cute I always like ones that can go beyond the baby stage.
