When do you ever have time to sleep? Beautiful work!

Thank you for your kind words. This one was fun to make, and when I saw the pattern I knew it would be burgundy and white with a narrow black accent border to frame it. I wanted a crisp look and I was really pleased with the finished product.

And yes I do find time to sleep... honest! ;) When my kids were small, the evenings were my time to sew, and some nights I'd burn the midnight oil, but boy did I pay for it the next morning when the kids hit the deck at 5am ... lol When I'm not at my machine I am either putting pieces together to be sewn while waiting on dinner to cook, or I'm hand quilting....I have a christmas quilt I've been hand quilting for months now...it has Christmas trees around the borders and I decided in my brilliance that I'd sew beads on the trees as decorations....wasn't one of my better ideas... LOL It's very time consuming, but eventually I'll get it done :)

That's all right Loretta. We spell it that way in New Zealand too

Beautiful, as your work always is. So inspiring. Can't wait to see the Christmas one you're hand quilting.
