This is so wonderful. I have been gathering ideas and stuff to put together a Navy Memory quilt for my son, who severed in the Navy for 8 years. I wanted to do a Storm @ Sea for him too. I did not know how to get them together. This is so wonderful. I plan on incorporate his ship's logo, photos and his metals into the quilt but trying to get him to understand my idea has been very difficult. Now I have pictures to show him. I also working on my grandparents farm in quilting. It was good to see your log cabin. Thanks again!!!
