Hi again! I stared at your quilt some more & I do see the free form now. It's funny how our eyes can play tricks on us. Very happy you mentioned your process or I might have missed learning about it!

thank you. i haven't made all the blocks yet. i guess ignorance is bliss. i just liked it and decided to give it a try :D i did modify it so i wouldn't have to set in the background.
did you make a sampler including all the blocks?
i love that book. Eleanor is my quilting hero :-) i watch her show on the RFD channel. have learned a bunch from her.

nanabirdmo, no - I didn't make the sampler. At the time, I considered it all a learning experience and just used what scraps I had on hand. I wish now I had used coordinating colors and put them all together. I'm also a fan of Eleanor Burns.

Oh, I love those bright color scrappy looking quilts, you did a great job on your color selection. It would be one of my favorites also! Your friend did a great job on the quilting also, I like the pattern she used!
