Thank you, I just added a note to the quilt challenge thread that I wanted to be a [part of the 2008 challenge. I will donate my quilts to the Protective Services Agency for foster kids...last year our quilt group made and donated over 50 quilts to the foster kids.

Thanks for the response and the welcome! Don't over think the colors...I'll remember that. (It'll also make it easier for me to get started on my first quilt! :wink: )

Sandpat...I just read the challenge thread and i don't think they are going to chose the winner of the challenge until Dec. 2008 so NO, I haven't won it but thanks for the vote of confidence! :wink: :lol: :lol:

You did a good job, but I was thinking I was going to find a quilt with black on one side and color strips on the other like an Amish quilt I saw made. I guess there are different patterns for Roman stripe quilts. Thanks for posting.
