I did not do the beautiful top, only had the pleasure of quilting it. The quilting motifs were made especially for this quilt.

The full quilt

The feathered hearts for the beautiful large corners

The designs for the pinwheels

I outlined some of the petals of the flowers but not too many so they would puff. I added the feathers to be leaves in the background

What a pretty quilt. I don't believe it would have ever dawned on me to use black with a rose fabric but it's really very pretty. Deb, your quilting is so lovely! Thanks for sharing.
