Default Roses and Butterfly block

This is an applique designs that I made.

Originally I was going to put it with other block as part of my daughter's hipp quilt, but I don't think it belongs to part of that theme. That quilt has blocks that are a couple of different peace signs, a yin yang, celtic knot, and a tribal tree of life. This one just doesn't fit with that.

This roses and butterfly block turned out better than I thought it would. It's pretty enough that it should almost be a quilt all on it's own. The block is 8 x 8 inches so it's too small for that.

Any ideas on what should go with it?

It's very pretty!! How about a small table topper or a flap for a handbag? Of course you can start a whole new quilt with a floral theme

I have a friend that did a small applique block. She decided to frame it and hang it and it looks beautiful. Maybe you could consider this???

I think I just might go for a quilt with a rose theme. Each block having a new rose design. Thanks everyone. What a great idea.

I love the idea about framing it too, but then I'd end up doing that to all of my designs!
