Wow, Yaya, the blues are just gorgeous. I like the unique turn Paula's top is taking. I am getting a very modern vibe from it. I get to work on Paula's last. I have a lot of things floating in my head. I will be watching as this one reaches the second to last round.

Here is a snapshot of it as I don't think one has been posted yet. I will "watch" it carefully and let it talk to me for a few days at least.

I have come up with a plan for Tammy's that I think she will really like.

Tammy's quilt is beautiful Paula. I loved working with the yellow and blue. I'm just sorry I wasn't adventurous enough. I didn't want it to look too busy. So I went simple. I just knew you would come up with something very special for it.

Judith, you said it the way I was thinking, too-Paula's has a modern vibe to it. I have something stirring around in my mind that should compliment what has been done. I'm seeing it in my mind's eye as somewhat modern, but not totally, either.
Paula, I can't wait to see what you are planning for Tammy! These quilts are so much prettier in real life, even though they look so nice on the computer.

Prettier in real life - I completely agree with that! I put Tammy's up on my design board and it really makes it come to life.
Judith, your addition - while you call it simple - was (IMHO) the perfect thing to do. A calming area to set off the beautiful interior work and still set the stage for the next rounds.
Now, to find the right fabrics for what I am planning......Blues and Yellows will be a nice change from the Black & White wedding quilt I am also working on.

Thank you so much Paula. I was just trying to convince myself that I did the right thing. I won't worry anymore about it. I hope you have fun with it. How is your weather? Any snow? Working on TamMoo's top will cheer you just to work with the happy yellows and calming blues. Any other color to your black and white wedding quilt?

I finished Judith's Pretty teal/red/yellow center. (Sorry the picture isn't the best-I already packed it up to mail tomorrow to Nancy!) What do you all think??

The border is called "Tipped Bricks" (I found it on quilterscache.com), and I put large HST in the corners!
