As for the ties i just bought the extra wide double fold bias tape and used it. Took the easy lazy way out!!!!

using the bias tape for ties...that's not lazy, that's creative. your making 7-8 aprons! my goodness, what a great grandma. i always did cookies with my kids, but we used old aprons that i had or safety pinned a towel etc. ...what a neat idea to make them match! I'm gonna 'borrow' that idea if you don't mind and put in my nana stash of things to do with my grandkinds. already had plans to make cookies with the closest one. she will love having her own apron that matches nana's. How great an idea is that! thanks for sharing. C
