Santa panel made into a Quilt
#1
I have finished my very simple Santa door panel quilt. I posted a while back ISO a Santa door panel so I could make it into a quilt for my son and I and dh can snuggle under while watching Christmas specials this year. Murphy was kind enough to send one to me. THANK YOU Murphy!!! I hope I did it justice with the borders I put on it. The backing is red with the old time light bulbs that use to be used outside. My son picked out the backing. I think he did great. I used Warm & Natural. I normally post pictures after I do the binding, but was to excited and I couldnt wait lol
The next picture is for True4uca. Here is a picture of what this quilt looks like on my frame. You can see that I am at the end of the quilt. That is 95" rolled up on the bar. The quilt is 70" wide. I could easily add another 4" to another quilt if I wanted to make a wider one. The panto that I used was the 3" stippling. I only had to adjust my laser one time during the quilting process. and the very last row I free handed. You cant tell it by the picture, but I did :)
How did I do?
