Default My Whimsical Garden applique quilt top

I finally finished all of the needle turn applique blocks for My Whimsical Garden from Piece O Cake by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins. It has been almost 2 years in the making. I have the first border on. The pattern calls for a second 6 inch border with over 120 applique circles of various sizes. I am trying to decide if I want to add that border or just finish up as is.

Thanks for looking

Lovely top! I might like for a nice polka dot fabric for the final border and get it quilted.

I think I would choose a border that has a tiny floral that complements the colors in your lovely appliqued flowers. Maybe you could take it to a fabric shop and audition several choices.

Great top! Beautiful work! Wonderful colors! I like the polka dot idea for a border.

Beautiful quilt! If it were mine, I wouldn't want a border that would draw attention away from the quilt (which I think circles would)....IMHO

OMG !!! It's beautiful. That pattern sits right in front of me, waiting to be started. There is hope.
