Sawtooth Star Block
#71
This is what I did to fix my 11 year old daughter's BOM blocks that ended up too small and/or as wonky squares. I drew and cut the true sized square from a sheet of wax paper, then layered it centered under each block with wax side & back of block together, drenched it with Best Press spray so that is wet but not soaked which relaxed the fibers, gently tugged and pinned the edges of the block to meet or surpass the edge of the wax paper, then pressed it dry with an iron, trimmed away any excess fabric beyond the edge of the wax paper before seperating the block from the wax paper. It worked beautifully and fixed the block measurements by a whole 1/4" or more.
