I went into our Wal Mart and our fabrics have been replaced with charcoal, coolers, cases of tissue, paper towels, etc. It really was sad to go in and not see fabric. Here are some of the fabs. I bought at 50% off the last two weeks.

I hope you enjoy cooking with charcoal and use lots of paper towels. Or maybe that is what Walmart hopes.

Nice haul, though I'm sorry to hear when Walmart takes out fabrics. Some of them are putting in precuts, like one near me. Your second group, fabric 2...LOVE that one! I have some of it and managed to get some coordinating.

Oh, and I LOVE your signature....:)

You really got lucky with what you were able to get! The Walmart stores in my area too have discontinued carrying the fabric department. The sales person told me it was because they were not making any money. I just don't see how that can be!! My guess is it is just an "excuse" to cut a department in order to save $$. :(

Wal-mart does not seem to care about their customers.
You can only use so may coolers. You can always use more fabric.
If our local Wal-Mart closes out the fabric dept, then I have NO need to shop there.

My husband seems to think we could save some money now...NOT... I can find somewhere else to buy fabric..lol
I do use quite a bit of charcoal, but I'd rather shop for fabs. Wal-Mart stopped caring about their customers a long time ago.

The WM by us gave up most of the fabric over a year ago. Then ALCO just gave it up this past month. Looks like Joanns, Hobby Lobby and LQS will be getting my business still.
