It always thrills and stuns me to see magnificent quilts like these! Sometimes it leaves me wondering why I make quilts when the world has these!
But, then I remember that my own treasures are meant for daily use, give a warm hug, and are treated like old friends. We all need some exquisite formality in our lives, just to remind us that there is "more"; but Honey, not every quilt needs to be an heirloom....there just isn't that much time left for some of us!!
Thank you SO much for sharing these and allowing us to go the show with you. (And, in my case, be a bit introspective. )

WOW!!! Thank you very much for sharing. Many years ago I saw a quilt that was amazing (it took best in show) and I found out later it also took top honors at Paducah. I am always amazed at what these magnificent quilt artists are able to do, and since I can't do handwork any more, I am grateful to see all of the wonderful work folks are capable of.
