My grandson became an Eagle Scout this year and my DD asked if I could make him a Wallhanging to commerate this wonderful occasion. Of course I said yes. I had never made a Wallhanging before and couldn't fine a pattern to follow, so I bought some material on line and got out some paper to try to come up with a pattern. This is the end result. I found a picture of an eagle online and copied it, then appliqued it. The center of the Wallhanging will hold all his badges he earned. I didn't put them on yet as he has to have them on his uniform and sash. I will do that later. For not having a clue to how to do it, I am pleased with the result. What a wonderful gift for him!!! Eagle Scout is a lot of work and a real honor for the boys. Two of my sons are Eagles Scouts, too. It opens a lot of doors for them the rest of their lives. It looks really good on a resume, too.
