So I was wandering the library the other day, and came across this book Scrap basket suprises 18quilts from 2 1/2" strips By Kim Brackett

Wow! I would make every one of these cute quilts.
So now I am gonna check out ebay and see if I can find some jelly rolls and get started.


here are a few of my favorites.

this one is bali sea star . . looks fun

Her Scrap Basket Sensation book is good too. I just finished piecing Island Chain today. I'll post it when it's quilted.

They are all pretty. I especially like the pinwheels. Wish I could pick out that many fabrics that go so well together.

well see thats what makes it soo easy, you can use jelly rolls! then the guess work is done for you in cordanating fabrics.

I made the 2nd one (modified slightly with sashing and borders) in browns for my hubby.
