Great idea...our guild is making placemats for meals on wheels so I think I'll start with some scraps. Keep up the good work Tartan.

I have been doing some of the same as Tartan. It seems like someone took a picture of my scraps! I have a pile like that one!

I am a neatnik and don't like bags of scraps hanging about. I am also a committed environmentalist, therefore I am not throwing much away. Your example of intelligent use of scraps solves my conundrum. Thanks.

Great way to use up those never ending scraps. They will make eating a fun experience.

What a great idea! I've more scraps than I know what to do with - and a new cottage that needs placemats. Hooray!
