Default Scrap comfort quilt for Niece and family

Our niece's 7 year old son was in an accident, and eventually died, after they donated his organs. I know a quilt doesn't make up for the loss, but, it's the best I can think of to somehow give them a little comfort. Had some strips left from the scrap-of-love, and put them together with two different blue fabrics. Finished it yesterday, so it is in the box ready for mailing to them. The back is one piece of flannel, so will be cozy.

This is a wonderful gesture. Even though nothing will bring her child back, this will serve as a reminder to her and her family that they will always be in your thoughts and heart. It will bring them warmth and comfort in knowing this quilt was made by you for them. My heart and prayers go out to them in their time of need. May God bless them and watch out for thim during this sad time.

Sympathy to the family and you. So sad but you did a great thing.
