I just had to show a picture I was sent today. My daughter is working on this scrap top from fabric she recieved in the mail.

I told her if she had her top done by the time I get to go see her, that I would teach her how to quilt. Told her I would get her batting, backing, thread, needles and some kind of hoop.

I can't wait to see it finished.

I see she got a little off on one of her seams on the bottom square. I'm going to see if she wants to redo that squares or just leave it. I'll get her a seam ripper too!

I'll show you a picture of the top when it's done. And of it quilted when that is done also.

Thank you ladies!

Yes she is Kimmie! And I'm thrilled she is back into sewing.
It's giving her motivation to keep busy.
She was so thrilled that I liked her top. She said Mommy I'm going to work on it tomorrow soon as I get the two girls to school. I'm just wondering about the third one she couldn't get in school this year down there. What she does while Mommy sews. I'll have to ask her that question?

Thank you ladies! I'm so pleased with what she is doing. She wants to join QB. But she has to wait until she gets internet. Whenever that might be. If she gets a chance, she'll join from her brothers computer.

Who knows, I may end up having them back here with me. I told her she had a home to come back to. But my goodness! What on earth would I do with all my stuff in my Quilt House?

I dont think I have a quilt that is not a little off somewhere. I said my Quilting name is Crooked Line Quilting. Be careful if you have a quilt with all straight lines it is a forgery not one of mine LOL.
