Scrappy batik Prarie Braid
At least I think that is the name of this pattern!
Made with the left overs of 4 different colorways, I used the last of the strips I had to make this charity quilt. I did not trim to size (like I did when I made my daughter's braid using 30s repro fabrics and --1/2" wide strips), but these strips generally ran 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" in width and cut them at 7" long so I could get 6 pieces out of every WOF. The strips were not all exactly the same width, might have been wider at one end then the other but just put them together, and it turned out fine. I think. Certainly was a lot faster than trimming all those strips. The quilt is 40" x 58".
Thanks for looking.
